Self Compassion Meditation Prayer
- Become comfortable either in a chair, on the floor or on your bed.
- Take note of your energy levels on a scale of 1-10 (10 being high).
- Take three deep breathes, breathing in relaxation and breathing out tension.
- Focus on your heart area as you breathe.
- Feel the energy of compassion which is an attribute of your heart.
- Be open and feel the acceptance and gratitude for who you are today.
- Feel the energy of innate harmony another attribute of the heart.
- Let the harmony create a sacred space within you and feel a healing presence.
- Experience the attribute of healing presence as it awakens a pureness of heart.
- Feel this pureness of heart as unconditional love another attribute of the heart.
- Allow the unconditional love to open within you a radiance of light.
- Allow this light radiate out from your heart into every single cell of your body, all of your organs, blood stream, into your skin and out into your energy field.
- Bring the energy back into your heart space.
- Feeling the attributes of the heart...compassion, innate harmony, healing presence and unconditional love.
- Hold the intention of carrying these attributes with you throughout the day.
- Bring your awareness back to the breathe and to the room.
- Feel your feet on the ground/bed.
- Take note of your energy level on a scale of 1-10.
